Just returned from a lovely stay at Whashton Springs! The views were stunning, and Jane made us feel right at home with tea and delicious farm-fresh eggs. Only downside was the fast road by the entrance. a fantastic getaway!

Whashton Springs pretended to offer a quaint countryside experience, yet I was met with a room that had a gurgling water noise that was absolutely distracting. expecting breakfast after paying extra and receiving nothing was a joke. A room upgrade woudl ve been appreciated as a gesture, but I was treated like every other guest. I just couldn't recommend it.

whashton springs farmhouse was super chill with awesome views! we got a fantastic breakfast with local goodies and the room was comfy and had a nice garden view. jane was such a great host, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. loved the peaceful countryside, it was like a breath of fresh air! and dont forget about the cute farmcat, made everything even better!
only downside was that we had to pay cash, which was kinda annoying because we had to drive to richmond to get some. also, the road outside was a bit busy, so it was a lil noisy when we were outside.

lovely stay but noisy fridge
The room was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Jane's breakfast was a highlight—freshly cooked and delicious, using local ingredients. The peaceful garden view made mornings enjoyable, adding to the tranquil atmosphere of the countryside.
The noise from the bar fridge in the room was quite distracting.

Super cozy and friendly!
We had a lovely stay for a night. Jane really made us feel welcome from the start. The room was super comfy with gorgeous views. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious! The only thing was the thin walls. you could hear some chatter from neighbors. The picnic area was a nice touch too!

Whashton Springs offers a beautiful rural setting with stunning views and comfortable rooms. The breakfasts are mind-blowingly delicious, featuring fresh, farm-sourced ingredients, including the best scrambled eggs you've ever tasted. Jane, the host, has that perfect balance of being welcoming without being intrusive.
Nothing significant.

comfortable stay but noise issues
The house is stunning, and I loved the well-equipped room with a charming view of the garden. Having a small fridge in the room was a wonderful touch, allowing us to keep our drinks cool. The communal picnic area encouraged friendly conversation among guests, creating a cozy atmosphere.
The gurgling pipes disrupted my sleep at night.

It was just a fitting option for a couple of nights in Richmond (North Yorkshire) at a reasonable price. The courtyard room we ended up in was really nice and peaceful. Make sure to ask for a quieter room to avoid any noise.
